Objective

MITON CZ Ltd., running a number of very successful web projects, began to engage in the Internet sports media. Their goal was to create the most successful online overview of Czech sports results.

Solution

This is a very large project, presenting the results of the 7 favorite sports from around the world. Presented are detailed results of matches played, a schedule of planned matches and live overview of the current played tournaments. Each sport presents its results in specific a way according to each sport's essence.

Since it was an unusual project, there was chosen a custom development of application using our Defactory Platform, which thanks to its modularity offers easy development of new functionalities and smooth integration with another applications.

One of the basic objectives of this portal was to create ­ online community of sport fans who will use the portal, enrich it with original content and establish an active contact among each fans. Therefore, the portal integrates blogs, where every registered user can contribute with its articles and comments to express its opinion of sports events and increase portal's popularity.

Result

Sports community portal Vysledky.cz helped MITON CZ Ltd. in competition with the leading Czech Internet medias from the sport field, which supported company's strategy of developing successful Czech media projects.
